Before leading DKM Matienzo Inc., Maria spent 18 years as Director of Sales for Velur Land Investments/Velur Enterprises Inc., accumulating top-producer recognition and a track record of negotiation wins in land consolidation and parcel investment. Prior to that, 17 years as Director of Finance and City Treasurer across National City, Long Beach, and Hawaiian Gardens gave her an institutional command of compliance, fiscal management, and high-stakes public finance that few brokers can claim.

In renewable energy and industrial land, that background translates directly: she understands how developers structure offers, where landowner leverage exists, and how to close deals — whether structured as leases or outright purchases — built to hold over the long term.
